In response to the district's continued growth, Denison ISD has reconvened the Facilities Planning Committee to evaluate current elementary school options. The committee made the following recommendation to the board on June 18, 2019.

In 2010, in an effort to proactively plan for the district's future, the Denison ISD Board of Trustees established a Facilities Planning Committee to study the district’s aging and evolving facility needs. This committee worked to develop a comprehensive master plan to address the highest priority needs at that time in addition to long-term facility needs for the future.

The principles and goals set by this committee serve as a driving factor in this second phase of planning and reconvening the Facilities Planning Committee to address the district’s current elementary needs.

This page will be updated as the committee works through the process and will include meeting agendas, presentations, notes, and relevant resources.

Members of the committee will study existing facility conditions, financial data, educational programs, student population trends and will ultimately present a recommendation to the Board of Trustees as to how to proceed with a facilities plan to address current needs.
